Assistant Manager Regulatory - Analysis / Planning - Telenor

AM Regulatory will be responsible for analysis of regulatory framework and provide necessary support in safeguarding Telenor interest. He/She will make recommendations to the management that best suit Telenor. Interacting with and managing internal stakeholders' expectations to the optimum level and in the overall company interest will be part of the responsibility.

Degree(s)/Major(s):	MBA (Mandatory) & Electrical Engineering background preferred
Experience Required:	More than 5 years of relevant experience. Background in telecom preferred.
Key Responsibilities:	- Ensuring and monitoring regulatory compliance within the organization. - Handling the license provisions in a manner to avoid adverse impact on the company. - Ensuring regulatory efficiency by providing timely industry comments and monthly/quarterly reporting to PTA. - Identification of future telecom and regulatory trends - Preparation of proposals to capitalize on opportunities and mitigate risks - Preparation and presentation of business proposals to relevant teams - Particpation in bidding for projects offerd by USF - Follow-up on project milestones and project reporting as per project management tools - Undertake initiatives in support of Telenor's strategic planning. - Prepare comprehensive response to consultation papers published by PTA/MoIT/USF. - Analyze regulatory framework and policies to ensure compliance and make suitable recommendations.
Functional Skills/Knowledge Areas:	- Strong knowledge of technical aspects of Telecom - Knowledge and/or exposure to the telecom policy and regulatory framework - Knowledge of Enterprise Solutions; Blackberry will be a plus - Excellent computer skills - especially MS Word and Excel
